Dr. Thomas Caputo, expert in Gynecologic Oncology and Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine, is retiring after 38 years of service. On January 7th, WCM Obstetrics and Gynecology hosted the Thomas A. Caputo Symposium on Gynecologic Oncology in recognition of his career. Dr. Brian Slomovitz and Dr. Michael Worley, former residents of Dr. Caputo, presented at the symposium. Attendees included former students, colleagues, and staff. At the event, the department announced the creation of the Thomas A. Caputo Gynecologic Oncology Research Award to continue his tradition of research and mentorship.
