Weill Cornell Medicine has selected the newest class of fellows for the Healthcare Leadership Fellows Program. Launched in 2012 and aimed at identifying the institution’s “leaders of tomorrow,” the competitive program provides funds to support leadership training and educational opportunities for fellows. It also provides individual mentoring, small group meetings with nationally known leaders and networking opportunities with current and past fellows.
The 2026-27 cohort of fellows include:
- Olivia Gasser, nurse practitioner in the Department of Surgery
- Dr. Anyanate Gwendolyne Jack, assistant professor of clinical medicine
- Dr. Priya Katari, assistant professor of clinical pediatrics
- Dr. Harsimran Singh, assistant professor of medicine
- Dr. Allison Yang, assistant professor of medicine
The selected projects focus on strengthening coordinated, systemwide care and improving how clinical teams work together. They include building integrated, precision-focused programs for pancreatic disease prevention and management, high-acuity diabetes care and adult congenital heart disease through an ACHD Integrated Care Network. At the same time, they support safer, more effective antibiotic use with a systemwide penicillin allergy evaluation and de-labeling effort, and improve care quality and efficiency by standardizing attending physician documentation to boost e-competency scores and streamline workflows.
