The Department of OBGYN has a robust research team that spans wet lab work, translational work, and clinical research and is here to support the work of medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty.

Research team support includes the following areas :

  • Grant submission and award support
  • Basic science research
  • Translational research
  • Clinical research -- investigator-initiated, industry, and interventional trials
  • Human subjects regulation – CITI training, IRB, PRMC, etc.
  • Data collection systems development
  • Participant recruitment support
  • Statistical analysis linkages

A centralized departmental research support team that provides support for research projects is a rare and valuable resource, and we are happy to support the exciting work being done by investigators at all ranks and all levels of funding.  The research team has a clear mission to offer support to projects that meet at least one of the following goals:

  • Enhance the academic career of a departmental member
  • Have the potential to turn into funded research
  • Have an impact on the advancement of clinical care

The research team provides expert advice and regulatory support, connections to statistical support, and linkage to the OB-GYN Research Data Repository, all as determined by level of support for funded and unfunded projects. Please reach out to the team to address your needs – by filling out our Qualtrics form below – and a member of the team will be in touch!
